Bought these for the girls bathroom because the fixtures that tend to use this bulb type are soft white, not so bright, and use a lot of power. This is the perfect white for ladies make-up needs (4000k), and totally woke up the bathroom.

they were too cool for my room. And, for my needs, they were _too_ bright. With my light, gray-green wall paint, the 'vibe' was that of institutional, fluorescent lighting, which I didn't like, so I returned the cool white bulbs and exchanged them for warm white bulbs (which work much better w my room). Note: Buzzing was not an issue for me w either the cool bulbs or the warm bulbs.

This is the 4th different lumen output type LED buld brand that i have tried to get the correct output needed. The equivelent bulb size they use is often not even close to real world lumen output. so order stronger than you need. Example, i had 40 watt g9 halogen bulbs that eventually ended up needing these 7w bulbs to get me the desired effect. 6 watt would have probably worked too. But the recommended equivalent of 3-4 watt is not strong enough, air on the size of more. Great price and quality. No issues so far.

I had several of the G9 halogen bulbs in my house, but didn't mind the fixtures they were in. Fortunately we're in a time now where there's pretty much an LED version for any light bulb. I haven't had these for very long & will update if there are any changes. But the results are immediate. So much brighter and very easy to install. Being LED they don't run hot at all. Haven't experienced the issues some other posters mentioned. Maybe the bulbs are a bit warmer in temp color than 3000K, but not by a whole lot. At least not enough for me to care.
