I've two of these and I've given away probably half a dozen, including two for work. So far, none have died or been broken. The brightness is just about bright, plenty to read my without being so bright as to wash out something very near the light. The folding mechanism seems to be a near-ideal combination or low cost/light weight/simplicity and versatility.

I bought three of these. I could not be happier with the purchase. Just a few dollars for something that basically could light up a whole room if it needed to. Great for under the car, and a closet, or just working on something where there is no light. The magnet and the attached stand lets you put it in just about any position you need.

Great light, cheap too. Could use a bit stronger magnet but great movable pocket sized light.

Bright little thing. Magnet holds well if the piece it is attached to is stationary. Any vibration or shock it doesn't move ...it falls off when in the horizontal position. Good thing is, it has fell off many times and still works.

At first I was concerned about the magnet holding the light when it is fully extended. No problem ! Good strong magnet & bright light. Has worked well so far, I would recommend.
