Like a typical bloke I bought these and just plugged them, only for one to flicker and then two to go pop. Was just about to send them back when I read the online instructions again and saw that I needed a LED driver transformer instead of the existing halogen transformer.Once I bought these from Amazon on usual next day delivery and a fairly simple installation the bulbs worked perfectly. They are a lot brighter than my existing 50w halogen (at least 60w as claimed) and are clear and better all round. Would buy again.

Had a problem with flickering bulbs, unfortunately my transformers were the wrong sort, (even though they worked with less bright leds) new transformers new leds great they are the brightest led downlighters i have seen, and consume only 7 watts!
